Throughout this semester I have learned a great deal about writing. I have realized how important the drafting process is and how having multiple drafts and peer editing really help to make the final product much more focused and clear. I have also learned that making an outline before beginning writing the paper really helps me to organize my thoughts know what exactly I want to say and get across. I feel like my writing has a more clear tone and style now after all the exercises and writing that we have done in class. I really liked the fact that all three of the papers we did all focused on communities because it has made me think about something that I usually do not give much thought to. It also made me realize how communities are all affected my stereotypes and that it is very important to look past them because they are usually very un-accurate.
