Judgment

I learnt a lot this semester about looking at things with different perspectives.  When discussing so many different communities that are foreign to me I learnt that I could not be judgmental of the communities before I read the papers.  Just like some of my papers, some people pre judged what they thought of my subjects and then made fun of them.  Then they read my papers and they learnt a lot about my communities.  I also learnt new techniques of writing and not being scared to write about a certain topic.  The first paper I wrote I was not sure how the class would react to it so I did not go into much detail.  Once I became comfortable with the class I felt I was able to open up more about certain subjects.
