Everday Life is a Research Project

With our surrounding world constantly changing and advancing, it seems Americans spend less time in the kitchen. “The Super Sizing of America’s Kids” focuses on fast food restaurant’s large portions of unhealthy food being advertised and fed to children of all ages. This is a snippet from my first large college research paper in enc1101. We had to read "The Super Sizing of America's Kids" and then further our research and interpret what the journal was stating. I had done may smaller research papers in the past dating way back to 3rd grade but this was most definitely the most drawn out. Since I prefer "free writing" and wish I could pack my things and head for California to write for Cosmopolitan or Vougue, research isn't really my cup of tea. Even though I am in the science field, as a Biochemistry major, the labs we have to do annoy me unless I'm holding a scalpel. Reports in general do not bother me, I would just much rather sit at my laptop for hours writing about what I already know. I feel as if my everyday life is a research project and people inspire me through actions, verbage, and emotions. Even though I know that everything you write about in this world requires some research, I just like to experience it first hand rather than looking it up on google.
