how i write
When I write, I tend not to think about who im writing for or what style I am writing in. I write for myself, what I think is important and others can choose to either agree or disagree with the statements I write. When I write I do try to do some things however, for example I try really hard not to write how I speak. I also try to make sure my writing is as grammatically correct as possible, which doesn’t always work because I tend to suck with grammar. Normally I try to get my statements to flow, have my emotions flow through the essence of the essay but not to the point where it is overly emotional. I must admit that if I am writing for a class I try to stay as structured as possible, it isn’t really writing what you want rather than writing exactly what the teacher wants. When writing for class I feel that I am writing more for my grade rather than for me or what I believe. Teachers want a structured paper written how they would write it or with an argument that they agree with, if you can do that or do as they say you get a good grade. I’m sure if I wrote really what I felt about certain subjects I would not get a good grade because odds are it wouldn’t be structured it would be more free flowing, and it not everyone would agree with my argument making it less likely to be read. I rather write how I feel than write for others, but that wont happen until my grade isn’t affected.
