"selling out" blog

i believe all people are objectified in the media. women more than men but men too. The reason why i believe this is we don't know many ugly or overweight famous females but i could think of many ugly overweight men. Men like Carlos Mencia, George Lopez, and Kevin james are all overweight actors that are very famous. The reason why i think these men are objectified because they are all known for being funny definately not attractive. However in the media you hardly ever see an ugly actress or even a news broadcaster unless the part they are playing is to be ugly like the nannie in I Now Pronounce You Chuck And Larry. This contradicts what they say in "selling out" that all the men must be muscular and sexy to get girls when there are a lot of girls who like guys who wear girls jeans and are super skinny. I do agree though that in the media the vast majority of men must be the "ideal" man in order to make it big.
