style
Whenever I write, I don't necessarily change my voice for each audience. I may, however change the tone somewhat to address the situation/ prompt. For example, research papers I will approach in a more formal way. Whenever I write, I don't really think about my voice anymore than I think about the accent I have when I physically speak. It just comes out naturally. My influences would definitely be the environment I grew up in. My dad, being an educator, has a very extensive vocabulary, and I think his tendency toward a large vocabulary have rubbed off on my in my speech. This, in turn, has affected my writing in that I try and use expressive words and a vocabulary thats deep and vast.
