Interesting Research Papers

I've been writing research papers since I was in elementary school. Of course they were to the extent of what I wrote in high school and college, but it did prepare me for middle school and what not.  I've had mostly good experiences while writing a research paper, it can be quite difficult what the topic is really boring and I'm not interested in it.  I think my first really seven to ten page research paper was in my tenth grade honors history class. We could pick our own topic what it had to be educating to the other students.  I picked to research Florida State University.  I think that was one of my favorite topics overall.  I was able to discover so much about the school I would eventually attend, and I was able to prove the people that didn't know much about FSU wrong.  Whenever I assigned to write a research paper I started out with writing my prompt.  I want to write down what I might know already about the topic and what I want to focus on.  It's difficult to write a well composed research paper if I do not know what I want to focus on. After that I see any requirements, such as only using books or the Internet.  I usually get stuck when I am writing a paper I am not interested in.  It difficult to write when I know that everyone else will think my topic and paper is boring because it is based on the migration during the 1800's, for example.  I try not to get stuck by trying to find interesting facts about the topic that I could put into the paper to make it more interesting.  I know I am done writing a research paper if I covered all the points I wanted to cover.  Also, if it is an educational piece that will be able to educate the readers about things they might not know. I also have to make sure that I reached the word limit without just putting filler words into the paper.
